gemelliは革や、金具などの素材にこだわって製品をお作りしております。

ケースのデザインの設計で意識したことは、
ナイフを折り畳んだ時の金属の突起の形状や、温もりのある木の素材感。

それらを活かしたケースに仕上げるために、全て包み込むのではなく、素材を「見せる」デザインにこだわりました。

ナイフを収納する「道具」としてはもちろん、キャンプサイトをオシャレに飾る「インテリア」としてもお楽しみください。

当ショップで扱っている革は、創業100年を超える老舗の革業者の工場から直接仕入れています。革の風合いをありのままに活かして作られたナチュラルな革です。
作り手が工場を訪れ、担当の方に時間をかけて相談させていただき、こだわり抜いて仕上がった革素材です。

オイルをたっぷりと含んだシボ革のため、使い込むほどに飴色へと色濃く、さらにツルッとした肌触りへと変化します。

一つひとつ手作業で製作しておりますため、作業時の小キズやミシン跡などがついている場合がございます。
また、天然素材のため、切り出す革の部位等によって、色味や質感など個体差があります。

ナチュラルレザーは革本来の風合いを活かすため、表面加工をほとんど施さないので、牛が元々持っていたシワやたるみ、キズなどの痕跡がそのまま現れ、それが一つひとつの個性となります。
また、革の鞣し工程において、オイル染み、色の染めムラなど革1枚1枚に風合いの違いがあります。

At gemelli, we take great care in selecting materials for our products, including leather and metal fittings.

When designing this case, we focused on the shape of the metal protrusions when the knife is folded and the warm texture of the wood.

To highlight these features, we designed the case to “show” the materials rather than completely encase them.

Enjoy this case not only as a tool for storing your knife but also as a stylish accessory for your campsite.

• Leather: Cowhide (domestically sourced, full vegetable-tanned), oil leather, embossed leather
• Metal fittings: Brass

The leather we use is sourced directly from a factory run by a leather company with over 100 years of history. This natural leather preserves the inherent texture and feel of the material. Our craftsmen visit the factory and carefully consult with the staff to ensure the leather meets our high standards.

The embossed leather is rich in oil, and with use, it will develop a deeper amber color and a smoother texture.

Each item is handmade, so there may be small scratches or sewing marks from the manufacturing process. Additionally, as a natural material, there may be individual differences in color and texture depending on the part of the leather used.

Natural leather preserves the original characteristics of the hide, such as wrinkles, stretches, and scars, making each piece unique. During the tanning process, each piece of leather may have oil spots or color variations, giving it a distinct character.
